Because of your generosity…
The important work that the Foundation undertakes to help our communities and neighbors is possible through the generosity of our supporters, namely you!
It has been our tradition to host one fund raising event each year. Our goal as always is twofold: of course we want to raise money to continue the good work of the Foundation supporting the many families in need of help, but equally important to us is that we are able to get together with friends and family to remember Jonathan and celebrate a life that although too short, was well lived and enjoyed to the fullest.
Our 2016 event will be a Celebration of Goodness, to be held on Friday September 23rd 2016 from 7:00 pm – 12:00 am at the Tirrell Room in Quincy, MA. As we did in 2015, we look forward to an evening of fun, music and appreciation from the families who benefit directly from the help the Foundation is able to provide.
Auctions
We plan to have a few unique and interesting live auction items this year, as we have in years past. Our silent auction will be open at 7pm. Closing time will be announced the evening of the event. We don’t know what items we will have available for our live or silent auctions this year; last year we had over 80 items including a Tom Brady Jersey, tickets to Bruins, Celtics and Red Sox games and a one week stay at a beachfront home! We will post more information as the event draws closer so visit the website frequently for updates.
Music
Music will be provided by “Stage Door Canteen.” They play a wonderful assortment ranging from big band/swing to current hits and most everything in between. This 12 piece orchestra will get you singing and dancing along to old memories and new favorites.
Our Impact
The heartwarming videos, tributes and thank you cards received by the Foundation are all anyone needs to understand the difference that we can make to enhance our community and self being. It is our pleasure to share some of these with you at our Celebration of Goodness, always of course with the knowledge and consent of those involved. We truly hope that they touch you, as they touch us and help you understand what a difference you can make.
